Barbara was raised in a family of local Wilmington NC small business owners including Hospital Automotive, and Kahili’s Pool (a swimming pool installation business). In her early 20's, Barbara spent four years as a Nanny, traveling and living, across the globe to destinations such as: Germany (be it a little rusty, she speaks quite a bit of German), Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain.
